Oh, it’s a wild and crazy life we music journalists lead, you know. Witness my desk, just the other week …
I have actually tidied it a number of times since that photo was taken, but it never lasts for long. I wouldn’t say I thrive on chaos, but it seems to accrete around me, as if I were the eye of a hurricane of disorder. Or something.
So, as I mentioned last week, by the time you read this post I’ll be well on my way to The Buffalo Bar in London, to interview Electric Eel Shock before their album launch party.
Which is lots of fun for me, and a bonus for fans of brevity, because I’ve had to prepare this issue of FPB ahead of time as a consequence. Suffice to say I’ve been busy brainstorming and messing about with PHP and CSS code for most of the week, and therefore wouldn’t have had much of interest to report … so no change there then, eh?
Have a good weekend!
[For those concerned about the conservation of important rituals, fear not – I may have to skip observing The Friday Curry in my usual fashion this week, but apparently there’ll be Japanese curry at the show tonight! 🙂 ]
