Guitar corner: make your own pickups from junk
It’s not just computers that people hack, mod and generally screw around with - musical instruments are fair game, too.
Those of you who are more into the electronic end of music but still have an interest in messing around with things to make new sounds should check out my friend Crusty Paul’s site, Circuitbenders…he makes a living out of mangling old synths, drum machines and kid’s toys to make them sound evil. Some great free samples there also.
