Oh yeah - in all the excitement*, I forgot to mention that my review of Gene Wolfe’s Severian Of The GuildSF Site omnibus went up at a few days back**. I haven’t dared re-read it yet, to be honest. The review, I mean. Though I haven’t re-read the book, either. I might one day, though. Maybe.

I’m currently re-reading Severian Of The Guild. The first time I tried the New Sun stuff I totally agreed with your review; but the second glance seems easier to read, and you notice more. I think it’s worth a go, after a few years, perhaps…

I saw that headline on my RSS reader… didn’t bother to read the article though, just put on my helmet, headed for the bunker and screamed the phrase ‘it’s happening’.
