Ambiguous unquantified statements a-go-go. Discussion and promotion of YA is simply more obvious because it has its own sub-label. Personally I’m dog-tired of hearing those two patronising letters, but YMMV.

“Not only is The Slip available for free, but it was released under the Creative Commons “attribution noncommercial share-alike” license.” That sound? A thousand fat A&R men wailing in rage. Sounds good.

All of these discussions about YA seems to involve telling us to go to the YA section of our bookshops. Do people still actually go to physical book shops? with the prices of books going up and up till it’s nearly 10 quid for a mass market paperback and Amazon’s second hand prices being incredibly reasonable, I don’t know why anyone would want to.
But yes… fed up of people talking about YA.
