Gallhammer, so named after their love of pre-Celtic Frost outing Hellhammer. Check out Sigh’s Hangman’s Hymn or Gallow’s Gallery for another take from Japan on how to make black metal interesting, fronted by multi-instrumentalist and all-round cool bloke Mirai kawashima.
