I’ve seen that link to Gwyneth’s top ten female sf novels in near a dozen places today… and yet the article itself dates from late 2003. There’s probably something ironic in that…

Ironic indeed. The Grimwood and Harrison lists were even older, IIRC. Matt Staggs has been digging in the crates for his SF Signal round-ups, methinks!
