    “Religion is spiritual immaturity. That’s a compliment. It’s entirely possible to enjoy your life without spending so much of it bent over in submission. Pull your head out of your rear, and look around with your own two eyes.” Amen.

    Try not to argue about “religion” by describing only one kind of religion?

    Jews have been arguing with God for a couple of thousand years or more. Quakers have been searching for ways to make the world a better place for a good three hundred years. There are plenty of activist religions around which are neither submissive nor complacent.
