Towel Day 2006: promoting Adams at the library
Strange things happen when you go to work with a towel over your shoulder. Luckily my colleagues are a decent bunch who tolerate my moments of eccentricity. Indeed, my line manager decided we should do something for Towel Day, and so a display of Douglas Adams product was swiftly assembled (complete with a towel, natch):

Apologies for the dreadful picture quality, my phone’s camera isn’t much cop at the best of times and fluorescent light sends it right off.
Next year I shall plan ahead and we’ll promote this properly. It’ll make a change from some of the promotions we usually do!
