May 25th 2006 is Towel Day, in memory of science fiction’s most irreverant genius, Douglas Adams. And to celebrate the works of the great man, it is requested that all afficionados wear a towel for the whole day, where ever they should be.
Yours truly will be sporting a towel at the library where I work – ready, willing and able to point curious passers-by towards the works of mastery that are the books of Douglas Adams. Expect photos in a post tomorrow.
The ‘Towel Day’ website can be found here. Any readers unfamiliar with Mr. Adams’ opus are heartily recommended to amend their error immediately.
So long, and thanks for all the hits.
