True 3D display system

A company called AIST from Japan has released information about its new prototype 3D display device. Unlike previous ‘pseudo-3D’ displays, which project onto 2D surfaces to give the illusion of three dimensions, this thing actually draws in thin air, using the plasma effects of focused laser light.

    I’m thinking 3 D displays that fill a whole room for actually being in computer games.
    Imagine GTA where you are in the middle of the screen and the world rotates around you as you turn.
