Velcro City Tourist Board is the personal blog of one Paul Graham Raven, wherein are contained his ramblings about science fiction, music, and the stuff that happens to him.

Paul is a dishevelled British library assistant by day, employed by the Royal Naval Museum. By night - after an abject lack of success at wearing tights and fighting crime - he has turned to various writing jobs. As he’s from teh intarwebs, it’s time for a bullet-point list:

• Paul Raven is Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of science fiction webzine Futurismic - which, in addition to an original near-future science fiction story every month, publishes non-fiction essays and blogs on topics science fictional.

• Paul Raven is Publisher, Editor-in-Chief and (currently) sole staff writer for rock and metal music reviews webzine The Dreaded Press.

• Paul Raven is Reviews Editor of Interzone, the UK’s longest-running original science fiction magazine.

• Paul Raven also reviews science fiction books for the following venues:

  • Foundation (journal of the Science Fiction Foundation)
  • Strange Horizons
  • Hub Magazine
  • SF Site

• Paul Raven has been a regular music reviewer for the following venues (and still contributes to them occasionally as time permits):
