I wrote a short film last year.
The director/cinematographer has put it up on Y*uTube, if you fancy checking it out?
As you can see, “wrote” is a bit strong; I came up with the characters, with the help of some random draws from a Rider-Waite-Colman deck, then Robin and I together came up with the scenes in which they appear. (I also make a cameo appearance.)
It was a fun little project, and I intend to do more things like it. I’m curious to see how far the tarot-generative method might be pushed, and how one might “write” specifically for this deliberately and necessarily low-budget approach to film… which probably means I need to watch more low-budget films to see how it’s done. Suggestions welcome!
