There are so many reasons I love living where I do, and this is just one of them: after a leisurely three minute walk from the back gate of my apartment block, I arrive at a bakery that specialises in cranking out Middle Eastern staples for the local area.

And if I get there early enough in the day, they will still be pulling freshly-baked samoon out of the ovens… four loaves for around two and a half euros, still hot when I get them home. Magic.
This morning I have mostly been thinking about weeknotes, and how to refactor them. Part of my current thinking is that some of the less directly business-related material should probably appear here rather than at Worldbuilding Agency, but we’ll see how that goes.
Got a very exciting email about a potential project around an hour ago. For now, though, I need to draft something to post at W.A. tomorrow, and then settle down to another afternoon of editing/proofing an academic text. Gonna be a warm afternoon, by the look of things… if I get my work done, maybe I can get out in the sunlight in the evening.
