The various registrations of my new firm went through the week before last, but it’s only now that I’ve returned home to find the bank card for the business bank account waiting for me that I feel like I can really act as this commercial entity which I have—perhaps rashly?—summoned into existence. Feels good, if a little scary.
Got home late last night after spending much of last week either in, or in transit to or from, the Netherlands. While there, I gave two talks, co-facilitated a workshop, and spent a much needed downtime day hanging out with an old friend in Rotterdam. Everything went really well—even the full-day journey home yesterday, which had some hairy and/or frustrating moments, but eventually ran mostly to schedule.
I am, of course, completely knackered this morning—so this is an admin day, both commercial and domestic. If you’re expecting email from me, it will probably come today; the same may apply even if you’re not expecting it.
